The fix isn't just optimism—Audit and strip out decades of regulatory burden. For every new rule, let's take two out! #LandUse Reform (#SB100): Unlock land for #housing and jobs. #Infrastructure: Make it a budget priority to unblock affordable housing. https://t.co/A28qIUF3Ck

These combined costs raise the price of transportation, potentially inflating consumer goods prices and straining household and business budgets.
Democrats shut out Oregonians today, rejecting amendments to fund road maintenance without a $4.3B tax hike and denying voters a say. Republicans stand united in opposition to this reckless approach.

“The process to pass this bill was sloppy and careless, and Oregonians will pay the price – at the pump, at the DMV, and out of their pocketbooks.”

Well, there you have it. @ORSenDemocrats, led by @TinaKotek, just added $4.3B to your tax burden. They proved they don’t give a 💩 what Oregonians think—or about the affordability crisis they created. You deserve to weigh in on this tax hike.

The implementation of HB 3991 must be paired with stronger legislative oversight and a commitment to fiscal responsibility. This is not a partisan issue but a fundamental expectation of all Oregon taxpayers.

🚨 Oregon has lost 11,000+ jobs since 2024. Roseburg Forest Products just laid off another 107 yesterday in Douglas County. On Monday, Democrats are planning to add insult to injury with a $4.3B tax hike. @TinaKotek's agenda is killing Oregon’s economy. https://t.co/D4AnOfwwnv

My opinion… Portland is only just now starting to care about the homeless problem now because their tax base is fleeing, businesses are closing, money is drying up and their city is completely dead. I live just south of Portland and we don’t go there. No one we know frequents

Where’s the governor? Why isn’t she here to defend her bill over Labor Day weekend? Senator Bonham asked but didn’t get an answer.
