IMPORTANT FOLLOW UP… . In 2023, (as Maryland was heading towards its current fiscal crisis and the legislature was focus on restricting gun rights) keep this in mind. The following year, in 2024, many of the new gun laws passed in 2023 were found UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
WHY is Maryland struggling financially?. Remember back in 2023. The legislature's TOP priority (Senate Bill #1) was restricting gun rights-following the Supreme Court's Bruen decision. It seems Annapolis was not focused on revenue/spending. Are we now paying the price?.

QUESTION:. Can Baltimore businessman Ed Hale defeat Wes Moore in next year’s Democratic primary for Maryland Governor?. Moore appears to have hopes for higher office. Even if Hale loses, it’s often considered a bad look for incumbents to be challenged within their own party.
"I don't think the schools are doing a good job for the students today," Ed Hale told Project Baltimore during an interview. The Baltimore businessman plans on running for the democratic nomination for Governor, with education as a key priority. @chrispapst @FOXBaltimore
