Operational AI has to move across systems, maintain context, and decide what happens next. @mach1ai powers complex real-world processes with automation that doesn’t just run. It thinks.

During the holidays, Instagram should offer a feature where you can scroll nothing but ads for gift inspiration.

I'm a lifelong Democrat. But Gavin Newsom’s recent tactics remind me of a marketing quote: when you start copying your competitor, you end up looking like their asshole.

Isn’t this just like when FB rolled out a redesign? History shows it makes noise, but never stops more people from using it. That’s a pretty good place for OpenAI to be.
If you have been following the GPT-5 rollout, one thing you might be noticing is how much of an attachment some people have to specific AI models. It feels different and stronger than the kinds of attachment people have had to previous kinds of technology (and so suddenly

GPT-5 in voice mode describes my custom instructions before it actually starts answering my questions. “Absolutely, let’s dive into that with a bit of that Ben Thompson meets Adam Liptak meets Heather Cox Richardson kind of vibe.” Strange.

MCPs are reinforcing that prompt engineering will be around for a while, right? Or maybe they can only be reliably used with good reasoning models.

The Essential Role of Operators in AI Adoption The dawn of AI agents has prompted discussions about their role in the future of work. While some imagine autonomous systems handling complex tasks independently, practical deployment shows a different reality: businesses need

I got the opportunity to share my experience deploying AI agents across Trace's operations, transforming processes that paved the way for @mach1ai's foundation. Thanks for the great conversation @jjacobs22!

Is there a way to reset the X "algo"? It has become nothing but TikTok/Reel videos. I know some might say, "well, it's because that's what you're engaging in." But it's really not; I feel like if I watch one video or get sent one in a DM, it's all I see.

More validation for @benthompson's theory about when OpenAI announces new stuff...
i try not to think about competitors too much, but i cannot stop thinking about the aesthetic difference between openai and google

This is such a trap for companies. It’s so easy to serve the customers that have the loudest voice. But discipline is listening and then building a great product for everyone. It’s soul crushing to hear this Fisker employee saying he’s going to cancel other appointments with

What a tough experience reading a thread that has messages longer than 200 characters. Maybe this is trying to incentivize people to buy the subscription to access the ability to write long posts?

Greg Peters on a subscription business: "oftentimes you’re not just getting paid for what you’re delivering today. What you’re getting paid for is the trust and the confidence that you’ve built that next month you’re going to have something amazing to watch."

You can't even select music anymore without getting this alert.
Hey Elon, I’d encourage you to drive a car without “Elon Mode” for a few days to see what these alerts are like. It’s becoming infuriating how little forgiveness it has. A Tesla should be the most fun car to drive and the NHTSA requests shouldn’t change that. @elonmusk

It's also not "Ad Free." There are still ads in replies and other weird areas.

Any subscription trial experts out there? Going through Stripe data I'm seeing that 35% of trials don't convert because the payment isn't successful (not because they cancel). Any approaches to lowering this? Like removing pre-paid cards.

I thought it was responsible to try Claude vs. GPT-4. I gave it what I thought was a simple pro-ration question. Claude's math was wrong.
