The Texas trigger law sets up an issue of not being fined a civil penalty and charged with a federal crime for the same issue. In other words, you can have an abortion if you can afford $100,000 or get life in prison if not.

What makes me sad? As long as I can remember “camera trainee” was a position in credits and it’s gone. That’s budget squeeze. What we do is 40% book 60% mentored. This position can’t go away.

Even openly armed white men at our state Capitol buildings protesting stay at home orders weren’t treated as a threat but from night one, police came in riot gear for black protesters. I can’t think of a more obvious display of the deep rooted racism we must strive to unlearn.

Tear gas is forbidden in war but allowed in law enforcement , and its use has come under scrutiny after U.S. border forces sprayed it on immigrants.

#Columbus mayor just made our curfew indefinite. There are military vehicles in the streets, cops in riot gear who are already firing on people on sidewalks, myself included. Curfew just makes using excessive force ok after 10pm.
