founders will sometimes try and right size their round (only want to raise X dollars from person Y, don't want to dilute more than 12.738%, want co-leads -> 2X value add). it feels like over analyzing at the 99-yard line leads to bad decision making. founders just take the money.

Google is going risk on to generate more revenue w/ Youtube. Examples:.- Incessant ads to upsell into Youtube Premium.- Cracking down on Premium plan family members not in same geo.- Ads for NFL Sunday Ticket/Redzone subs . Trading off UX/NPS score for revenue is a bold move.

non-biased take from a founder:. One of the high leverage things you can do is use your network/partners as part of your gtm strategy. Sometimes they won’t support you. That’s okay. We had to earn those opps for marketing campaigns with real innovation and grit.
It’s tough pouring everything into something, championing an ecosystem, only to feel a complete lack of support and communication, which I feel isn’t much to ask for. That said, big things are coming. Lots of changes. Big AI lab partnerships. Viral marketing campaign, etc. I'm.
