The new 3rd tee boxes and the grass path to the right of the 2nd green are complete and bedding in nicely. The tees add extra length for championship play and create varied angles for the everyday golfer.

Making the most of the dry days this week to move material @WestLancsGC, 4th green surround stripped and extended a further 3/4 yards. Now onto the 2nd with @westlancsgreens on the bunkers 👌

Ian got started this week up @FleetwoodGC We've screened 200 tonnes of material to make some nice rootzone for extending and levelling some tees.

We got finished round the 9th and 18th greens this week @WestLancsGC I'll hopefully get some better photos next week. Huge thanks to @westlancsgreens following up putting in the work with the finishing and turf 👌

We're underway and had a great week to start us off @WestLancsGC Making good progress working with @westlancsgreens great teamwork!

Exciting progress on a fantastic project by the club, with outstanding vision from @joemmcdonne11 and @sd_cooper of @mcdc_gca. The greens team are doing an incredible job with the turfing and final touches following brilliant shaping work as always by @chriscardinal7 👏

7th hole project finished @FormbyGolfClub, big thankyou to the club, @JoeBarnes24 and his team. @sd_cooper & @joemmcdonne11 it was great to work with you all! Green totally rebuilt, lower fairway raised +2ft, upper fairway widened and new bunkers.

Great start on the 7th @FormbyGolfClub only green gone and new green formed. Big section of fairway raised by 2 feet. Fairway widening to finish on the higher section and dunes to tie in next.

Green surround and bunkers on the 1st @ormskirkgc finished. Drainage installed, levels raised considerably and totally reshaped to allow wider surround cuts and a manageable playable area in winter! Many thanks for the work as always.

Grass path on the 9th @StAnnesOldLinks finished ready for @stannesgreens and a load of turf! Great to see the last stage finished and all of the shale gone on this hole. Look forward to seeing it turfed! Thanks as always for the continued work

On the iconic 9th hole @StAnnesOldLinks taking out the last section of shale and creating a wider grass path. Shale all gone and dunes reshaped to gain more width. Ready for irrigation and rootzone next week with @stannesgreens

One week on from @chriscardinal7 working his magic , turf delivered from @LancsTurf. Grass mound and bunker finished , just need some of the wet stuff to fall from the sky @AintreeGolf

……. development plan started with some impressive changes just on the 3rd hole alone! More to come over the winter programme taking us into 2026 which is going to be a fantastic year for golf on the links, with the Amateur, Final Qualifying & the Open Championship up the road.

All done on the 8th hole @AintreeGolf Tee mounding, fairway mounding with new bunker and green surround mounding and new bunker. Greenside bunker changed to a swale, all the old bunkers on this hole now gone.

Continuing the program of works @AintreeGolf with @GolfAintree mounding areas which have been mulched for us last winter by Coxleys. Bunker alterations also on the 8th fairway. Looks much better all ready for fescue seeding!

Good site visit yesterday to see Ian on our job @FairhavenGolf New tees, grass path and mounding coming along great. Job finished @WestLancsGC and rootzone all screened ready for the next phase in November. Tha you for the work as always!

Great to get the first job ticked off the list for this year @WestLancsGC new grass paths and new tee on the 3rd. Alot gone into this, new main and irrigation, also alot of material to make it all work in a tight area. Big push by @westlancsgreens getting the turf down aswel!
