The power of prayer is real. Does it always turn out the way you want or on your timeline? No but it does always turn out the way God intended. Please continue to lift my mom up as the doctors seek answers. For those asking/texting/calling she is stable in the ICU now.

The baseball world lost a true legend. The world lost an even better man. I remember working with him in the early 2000s and I learned more in 10 mins than most do in a lifetime. Forever grateful for the time together. #RIPRoyClark.
Roy Clark, one of the most successful and respected scouts baseball has ever known, passed away at his Atlanta home last night. He was responsible for drafting and signing Wainwright, McCann, Francoeur, Morton, Heyward, Freeman, Kimbrel and many others. He was a great man.

Every at bat is an opportunity. Today I get another opportunity to choose spread a message of love and compassion while competing. Yes you can show love but still fight. You can give compassion but still want to beat the opponent. My at bats are different now that's all.

Many times hitters watch the best pitches go by and then swing at bad ones or worse yet leave it in the hands of the umpires and then complain about strike 3. What did you do on strike 1 or 2? The key is when you get that good pitch to hit don't watch it and don't miss.
