The single most important thing needed for the growth of Bitcoin is the emergence of high-quality Bitcoin L2s. We need L2s that can do fast, cheap BTC transfers at high volumes. I should be able to send $100M in BTC over a L2 without thinking about the infra.

14 years ago today, Laszlo Hanyecz had tens of thousands of bitcoin he had mined just burning a hole in his pocket. He also had a hankering for pizza. The rest... was history. Fun fact: he kept his pizza offer open for a while and in total purchased 8 pizzas for 40,000 BTC!

In both (a) and (b) BTC appreciates. In (a) BTC = $1M and in (b) BTC = $100K+. Scenario (c) is where Bitcoin goes through short-term troubles (a successful Operation Choke Point 2.0) and then grows while largely being cut off from the US markets completely.
