(2/2) But it looks like thesofproject is already working on a patch for this and will most likely be supported on the 6.9 kernel.

(1/2) Playing around with linux on the new HP Omen Transcend 14 Laptop Intel Core Ultra series. It’s working great on the 6.8.9 kernel. Intel Arc graphics, GPU offloading to the RTX 4070, and even the Intel AX211 works out of the box! The only thing not working is audio.

The two 12V cooling fans seem to be fused and need to be replaced

Recieved my new (old?) General Photonics PCD-001 Piezo Driver. It was “AHJ” modded leaving the BNC outputs disconnected. I’m not sure what this mod was, but I managed to reconnect them, and it works as intended! Thanks @storborg for lending me the function generator
