Context is missing here. He was asked 100 questions about interceptions and took full responsibility. When asked multiple times about that specific play, he brought up other factors in play aside from the actual throw. This isn't the "throwing under the bus" you make it out to be

I remember having the same thought the 1st time I saw Carnell Tate practice his freshman yr that I had when I saw Julian Sayin as a freshman. Both were the smoothest as freshman at what they do that I'd ever seen. Everything looked so effortless. No surprise in what they're doing

It's clear that the coaches have been intentional about QB development and adding more to Sayin's plate as the season progresses. There's a few more gears to this passing attack that haven't been activated.
