But to watch Episode 109 or 113 with Misty and just "meh," all I can is. you're bugging. Those interrogation room scenes in both episodes are still some of my favorite bits of acting on the show, and Simone slayed those scenes. We all raised our game because it was family.

And Misty, Cottonmouth, Shades, and Mariah were all greatly expanded past their dramatic levels in the comics. Drop the nostalgia and go back and read them. they didn't get Frank Miller Elektra/Bullseye/Hand level pathos. the comic was pretty much villain of the month. .

And it's not that the showisn't abovecriticism, it's that there'saversion of Luke Cage thatcouldhavebeen based in Greenwich Village orTimesSquare, if you really want to be "Cannonical" about it and ones that would have delegated Misty's storyline to being Colleen Wing's friend. .

What I'm saying is the reality of making a show is you can't do everything you want, but each show builds on the next, and I thought Simone Missick was and is an amazing Misty Knight and all of us who wrote her tried to do her justice. even on a show titled Marvel's Luke Cage. .

. and other plans in Season Three. We got canceled in 2018. Someone compared it to Storm being marginalized, but Misty got a lot more shine in the MTU than Ororo Monroe did in the Fox U. Hopefully a renewed expanded MCU will give a wider berth to both. .

The crazy thing? I couldn't use Reva because Jessica Jones took that storyline. Which altered Diamondback. And I had limited access to Claire Temple because of Daredevil. I jumped Iron Fist and made Misty Knight a priority--we also laid the groundwork for DaughtersoftheDragon. .

@Tre_John_son @TomAandTom1 @therealeverton @cheo_coker This happens a lot to black female characters in adaptations and we have the right to discuss that without it turning into the weirdest interaction I have ever seen on here where someone acts as if they own a character they didn’t create. Now I’m truly done with this topic.

No one is censoring anyone. It's just that people are shocked that I have an opinion one way or the other.
@cheo_coker @cheo_coker I think it’s ok 2 allow fans 2 have thoughts & critiques. They are consumers especially when u see it from fans passionate about the character. It’s clear both share love for the character. Of course fans of comics will critique none- comic accuracy or were not fans

The Thing is the better movie, but the "Long Tall Sally" scene is one of the best team dynamic scenes ever written. You have an opinion on everyone in that chopper before it lands, and its also the first scene in HW history to feature two future governors.

I'd add Midnight Marauders, but this is a great list. Chronic 2001 has to be the best engineered album I've ever heard.
These are 4 Hip-Hop albums that I consider to be sonically perfect with no flaws in the sound. Huge credit to the producers, engineers & mixers of these projects.
