hot take - we don’t need “big name vs big name” matchups streamed in day 1. we get plenty of those in day 2 and cut.
far more interesting (especially for casuals) is “big name vs interesting team” or a player finally having a breakout run.
Community choice should die caster picks were already biased enough towards big names, making the community choose just makes it worse. Or at minimum PLEASE overturn games of people who have already been on stream a million times it makes no difference to them.

I won the Smogon VGC event undefeated 9-0 in sets. Was able to pull it off even making some questionable plays, so it feels good to build some more confidence in this format but I will work to improve.

Sadly missing NAIC this year due to work stuff - I’ve been to every NAIC since they started in 2017, which was my first ever event. I’ve made Day 2 at 4 out of 5.
I won’t be at World’s this year either because I’m getting married, but I’ll be back for the fall. See you then!
