Noble contrast to the lax morality so common among foreign politicians. They will never say that of you, sir.

I didn't realise until a few weeks ago that Gary Oldman was knighted last year. Brilliant actor. Lots of you won't know that Laila Morse (Big Mo in EastEnders) is Oldman's sister.

Amazing how many angry men in pubs talk about how people like Gabby Logan got their jobs in footy because of "tokenism". Logan competed for GB at the Commonwealth games & her late Dad was ex footballer, Terry Yorath. Gabby Logan's son is a Scottish youth rugby player.

Define "white", "black" or "mixed race?". People identify with what they feel comfortable with. Cole Palmer's Dad is black. Stephen Graham's Dad is black. Ryan Giggs' Grandfather was black. Malcolm X's maternal Grandfather was white. Bob Marley's Dad was white.

I don't disagree, but people are different. A lot of West Africans work because it's ingrained in us. Back in the day (1990s), my Mum's cleaning & waitressing jobs in London (via an agency) paid more than her job in public health. Similar vibe today tbf.
The hourly rate you make when on benefits as a single person with a dash of anxiety is £11.12 The minimum hourly rate in the U.K. is £12.21. Many hospitality jobs, retail jobs and even care jobs pay this. Now why would I bust my balls for £12.21 which is ONLY £1.09 extra when

Saw this in Sports Direct yesterday. Loved when international teams had these kits circa 2003-2005 @mike_languages

Fair points. Also, back in 2010, when George Osborne wanted to cap the amount of money that you can earn on benefits to £26k per year he was mocked as "a classic Etonian toff". Osborne didn't go to Eton. Eric Arthur Blair did. Blair = George Orwell #BasicBritain
@PolitlcsUK @apple_shwn The consequences of 80years of welfarism. Every country needs a safety net, the strong and rich should always support the weak and poor, but we have normalised idleness, and a moral indifference to personal responsibility. The only way to turn the corner is for some to have to

Nice to score when you're already battering the opposition. I love Harry Kane, but he's like Raul. Spain dominated football after he was dropped from the Euro 2008 squad. Allowed Spain to play with false 9s & way more pace. Phil Foden doesn't play well for Eng because of Kane.

Tottenham Hotpsur Football Club #COYS Told a few of my pals early doors to bet on us winning the game &/or qualifying. Odds were decent for us winning the game (especially via free bets etc).
@SpursOfficial @kaneszn1 Really proud tonight. We were never going through tonight as we fucked our selves in the 1st leg and we were never keeping a clean sheet tonight, but fair play we were excellent all game. Far better than Atletico. Play like this v Forest, we will despatch them

Tottenham Hotpsur Football Club. Proud of you tonight (& always). Kolo Muani, Tel & Xavi Simons are absolute class acts & v well suited to Champions League footy. Tel & Simons tied down on long term deals too #COYS If you don't like supporting us, then go & be a Chelsea fan 🤢

Different point, Zinedine Zidane was never caught offside. Neither was I tbf. My players don't even get caught offside in FIFA & Pro Evo. I remember reading that Andriy Shevchenko would practice specific plays at Milan, e.g. timing of the pass & run with a no 10.

The Premier League underachievement in the Champions League is embarrassing. Out of 33 winners, only 7 have been English. Very basic quiz question that "die hard" fans can't answer. Note "Champions League" & not "European Cup". Man Utd only winning 2 UCLs is a disgrace.

"I've got ADHD" is the new "I would have turned pro if I didn't get injured" or "I had trials". We're all on the spectrum. Wasn't Albert Einstein kicked out of school for being "thick?". Gr8 with numbers, but little else. Hagrid's "You're a wizard, Harry" is an ADHD diagnosis.

I always felt I'd be a brilliant Sporting Director. Finance recruitment (what I do) is essentially like being a football agent, but for Accountants & Finance Analysts. https://t.co/WbFILKyqkG

The former Scotland midfielder was widely credited with playing a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League title win last season.

My verdict on today's society? Chido: Too many roadmen trying to be Romeos. However, it's been a thing for years & years. Ex drug dealers trying to be gentlemen & wearing really tacky jewellery.

Just a reminder that Paul Pogba had won 4 Serie A titles, 2 Copa Italias, the World Cup, Europa League & Carling Cup by the age of 25. Pogba lost his father shortly before the Europa final, yet still scored. Also scored in the 2018 WC final. Young player of the tourn at 2014 WC
"What a comeback by Manchester United, driven by Paul Pogba" 💪 Throwback to Paul Pogba scoring two goals in two minutes at the Etihad 🔥

The therapist market in the UK isn't regulated properly, e.g. you don't need formal qualifications. Literally, anyone can do it & many make £50-200/hr moonlighting as therapists on the side. Some very interesting reports on this. Way more regulated in France & Germany etc.
@0Beanie05923291 Some of the tools a competent therapist can give you will likely improve your life, but only if you consistently apply them over a very long period of time and allow the benefits to compound. Very few people will be able to do this because it is very hard to make even small
