It’s official: I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis from @MITMechE!. My time @MIT has been a whirlwind, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m beyond thankful for my advisor @ProfZhaoMIT, committee, mentors, friends, and family members who made this dream a reality!

Experiments and simulations reveal a scaling law to predict the energy needed to fracture stretchable networks of linked strands, with strand rupture force, breaking length, and connectivity as key factors in creating tough, versatile network materials.
