39th anniversary of the bombing of Air India Flight 182 that killed 329 passengers and crew, mostly Canadians of Indian descent. It was the largest mass murder in Canadian history. Yet, it is little remembered in Canadian history and public memory. #Airindia182 #kanishka

It's kinda apt that India's biggest win yet at Cannes official competition comes from a combination of some of our best strengths in arts - Mumbai (film's setting), Kerala (two of the film's leads), FTII (film's writer-director), a women-led team, and a story about migrants.
