The chapters positively sparkle.✨ Mary-Jane Rubenstein on atheism & science! Andre Willis on atheism & society! Denys Turner on atheism & power! @devinps on atheism & politics! @cfurey on the drama of atheism! Each author brings a distinctive approach, all of them brilliant. /5

I love the way this book made me see -- and read -- my own work differently. True of the initial prompt from @MonaOrabee as @ImmanentFrame editor, but at a whole other level with @iupress Universe of Terms book she and Emilie Flamme created.

The @iupress book illustrates select contributions that first appeared in the @ImmanentFrame digital project by the same name. These are two spreads that feature language authored by Webb Keane (on "economy") and @cfurey (on "human"). (📷: Frank Wojciechowski)

In this thoughtful essay for @newlinesmag, @ZidanSports compares his grandmother's Egypt of the 1950s and 1960s to the Egypt of today, noting "I realized my Cairo was not so different from hers." Read on for notable glimpses of "Cairo's fleeting grace."

Twice today I've heard a bird collide with a shiny clear window--like a train hitting concrete--and then found the body of one on the grass. Seeking solutions, I re-read this NYT article (and ordered tape https://t.co/upqr3hYffh ) https://t.co/YgyYEfBieh
