As a Dutch born US citizen Catholic, Vance's comments on mayo with fries tracks exactly with his doctrinal mistakes in his visit with our last pope in that pope's last days. (Oh and the underfunded state department cashed my check in July but has not supplied my CRBA from 1974.)

Law in any nation state will inevitably come to protect the rich from the poor, not the poor from the rich, the powerful from the weak, not the weak from the powerful, and capital from labor, not labor from capital. There may be exceptions, but not many, or for long.

I had very mixed feelings worshipping in Camarillo's Padre Serra surprisingly relatively progressive church in Camarillo these last few years. I am happy to be at Bakersfield's loving St. Francis church now and miss Most Holy Redeemer in the Castro. This statue needed to go and

A nurse who is also a character actress introduced me to Jung's posthumously published Red Book in a long late night impromptu conversation a few years ago. I considered Jung's archetypes significant in my life and work for 35 years but did not know the mysticism he kept hidden.
