4/6 @cfmmuk formally complained about this to @Ofcom but we were ignored. @Ofcom has repeatedly ignore segments on GB News where guests are allowed to make sweeping, unsubstantiated claims about #Muslims. Read more about this @MiddleEastEye https://t.co/78u2z0P8jC

3/6 In a segment that involved no real journalistic scrutiny, Tominey let Taha claim the UK has “more extremists than the Middle East” and that #Muslim communities are controlled by a foreign political group, all unchallenged.

1/6 #GBNews has been forced by the High Court to pay for its contemptuous coverage of #Muslims. The broadcaster featured a guest who spread falsehoods about @IslamicReliefUK on Camila Tominey's show in February 2025 and went unchallenged. 🧵👇 https://t.co/0LsIbV0C3i

CfMM's director spoke to the @The_NewArab about the @BBCNews's bias against #Palestinians, as documented by our groundbreaking report on #Gaza: - The #BBC gave Israeli deaths 33x attention - Interviewed x2 as many Israelis than #Palestinians - See video for more

But it remains bizarre that this article gives such prominence to Mann's words at the select committee, given that the @WMPolice then gave robust evidence to support what they were told by Dutch police. This is the bigger story. Why isn't the BBC writing a headline about that?

Correction: @BBCNews have changed the headline of this piece following our complaint. Before this edit, the article framed *biased* comments made by anti-Semitism Tzar Lord Mann as a statement of fact. The correction gives context to his partisan comments. #maccabi

2/3 If hero train driver Andrew Johnson was possibly inspired by his Royal Navy training as suggested here, what were #Zitouni's heroic actions inspired by? Will the media ask, suggest or explore this? Does this fit the ongoing narrative of demonising #Muslims and minorities?

This was a ruthless targeted killing of two #Palestinian children who as @piersmorgan identifies were 'collecting firewood' for their father. This headline from @SkyNews makes it seems as if this was some random drone strike on #Gaza. https://t.co/DhQlXao6Df

On the evidence given to MPs about the #VillaPark ban on #Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, it’s the @DailyMail not @BBCNews that delivers the clearer and more accurate summary of what @WMPolice actually said. Sometimes the framing tells its own story. 📸👇

Correction: After a @cfmmuk complaint, @TheSun has removed the word #Muslim from the headline, agreeing with our argument that their is no "honour" in killing an innocent as #Islam strictly forbids it, & doing so is not the act of a #Muslim who submits to God.

The Sun was the only one of 5 tabloids to call it a “Muslim honour killing” — a harmful, misleading label. The others reported the story fairly. No faith should be tied to a crime Islam itself strictly forbids.

There's no "honour" in killing an innocent - Islam strictly forbids it, and it's not the act of a Muslim who submits to God. Yet @TheSun labels it a "Muslim honour killing." Another tabloid attempt to tie a crime to an entire faith.
