Very excited for a new pub led by @prkaliush. We found an effect of maternal childhood trauma on infant neurobehavior at birth. The review process was long but the editor was great. In child dev world, maternal experience is often ignored, even though motherhood is so important.
📢 NEW PUB‼️ #maternal #trauma, #prenatal health, #newborn neurobx. SO MUCH support from @crowell_sheila @lizconradt & Patricia Kerig in navigating a confusing & exhausting peer review process (happy to share more if we ever meet over drinks 😅). Enjoy! https://t.co/UwosULGSue

This finding is important for people living with #depression: there are more ways now than ever before to access effective treatment. And there are more #affordable options online.

I have to admit that I was surprised by this finding given the extensive literature showing the variance in therapy outcomes accounted for by the therapeutic alliance. But I stand corrected: good #therapy is good therapy, even online.
