I tend to agree on the economy... but about the "ideological war" part... it looks to me that guys like Colby and Pompeo are "ideological" enough when it comes to China.
The conventional view is that Trump is good for Russia and bad for China. The truth is the oposite. He is bad for Russia b/c he will be unable, due to general opposition to him, to end the war in Ukraine. He is good for China b/c he will not wage a (crazy) ideological war that

Effettivamente...
Dall'inizio della mia età adulta (ho 40 anni) sento discorsi così: "questa crisi è l'occasione ideale perché l'Europa diventi adulta". Sono discorsi privi di valore nonché di senso. Sperare nelle crisi per crescere è indice di immaturità e di idiozia.
