An inspirational evening with @StevenIsserlis at his home the other night. So many stories and insights into Tavener’s iconic Protecting Veil, which Steven premiered in 1989! I’ll be performing it on the 28th and 29th October at St Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in London.

I’ve just been rehearsing Dvorák’s Bagatelles at @MoritzburgFest with the very Harmonium that performed in the premiere of Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier in 1911. What a piece of history!

Wonderful to be back at @MoritzburgFest with stellar colleagues and friends. I realised on my run around the castle this morning that I’ve been coming here for 25 years, which is more than half my life! Thank you @jancello for all the memories 🎶
