We are setting a goal of taking on $1 Billion USD in Ugandan exports into the specialty market in the USA. It's going to be busy for the next several years. But the Specialty market is the pathway to prosperity for everyone in the value chain. Coffee, Vanilla, Tea, etc.

My dad passed away yesterday morning. I'm not okay. But I'm grateful that I've always had a dad who loved me. And I'm glad our relationship got sweeter every year. And I know he was proud of me.

Great question. My understanding is that the Trade Representatives should be citizens of the nation where they are based and also committed to Uganda. Since I'm a business owner in Uganda and a citizen of the US, it gives me a kind of strategic access to the target market.
