My children aren't part of a generation that need to catch up. They need to reconnect. It's laughing with friends, exercise and activities, messing around on the beach and cuddles with their grandparents that they are missing and now need.

The Childhood Trust report paints a gloomy picutre for the mental health of the most vulnerable C&YP due to the pandemic. With many still not able to access school provision, the scramble to 'catch up' academically will not provide the support they need
