Educational leadership and technology, higher education shenanigans and a smattering of thoughts that just can't go unnoticed. My views are my own.

This #qanda panel are NOT the right people to take these discussions forward. Many of these comments mirror the worst of what we've seen over the past months of the referendum debate. We NEED to do better. @abcnews CHOOSE BETTER!!!

If you have a discussion on the Israel/Palestine conflict you need to have a much more informed, balanced panel. Some of the comments made are incredibly distressing, lacking in empathy and ignorant of the history of this conflict. Worst #qanda discussion I've seen.

Might seem obvious, but it doesn't always happen beyond the initial evaluation process. Yet when a system can add value to learning in so many different ways - not just a single purpose - it's really important.

I love this presentation by @edleader_AI from KPU, Canada. They have a specific strategic plan for #PebblePad use, aligned with institutional L&T strategies, so implementation is clear and they get real value for money.

Definitely...and this is exactly the kinds of assessment @PebblePad is designed for. It's built into its DNA and is just good assessment. Would have loved to hear this presentation!

A really wonderful example being raised in our #TILTFOLG23 session on #CHATGPT. @nige1980 sharing how #PebblePad can be used to show process over product by recording academic sources and reflecting on them as part of the assessment product. Brilliant discussions by all! 🙏 🙂

What can you do now? Critically review your rubrics. Are they just rewarding knowledge recall? Design your assessments so students are making and defending complex evaluative judgements. #chatGPTHigherEd @CRADLEdeakin @TEQSA
