New research from the Poverty and Inequality Partnership led by ACOSS & @UNSW Sydney focuses on material deprivation. People experiencing poverty are unable to access life’s essentials leading to poor health, isolation and vulnerability to future financial shocks.

Great start to #TacklingStigma2024 with a rousing keynote from the wonderful @carlatreloar on the need to tackle stigma and power, including through collective action and a politics of collective advocacy.
