SP & FP players would be wise to reject "call ups" but then again, the Fed puts their players in conditions which are so shit that they probably wouldn't turn down the call up because it'd be better than current conditions. Basically, low tier "pro" hockey needs to be better

It's almost as if placing outdoor games in warm locations even during the winter is a forcing a square peg into a round hole.
The league confirmed the plan is for the roof and outfield windows to be open for the Winter Classic, barring unforeseen circumstances. The ice will be built about an inch thicker than it would inside an NHL rink to allow for flexibility, but it’ll get shaved down as needed.
