This beautiful beast joined our family 6 months ago. Walking her is like dating a supermodel-everyone wants to come over & admire her. Professional racer in Australia for 3.5 years but now friends with cat, barely bothers chasing rabbits. Takes her retirement really seriously!

Punch declared 1861 Year of the Gorilla-inspired by Darwin's Origin & lectures by explorer Paul du Chaillu. 2 years ago I bought that volume of Punch. Feel of the pages is amazing, with type indented heavily into paper. Details from image of gorilla talking to startled man.

Some US zoos don't let public see carnivores eating meat; the Zoo in @TowerOfLondon waived entry for people bringing chicken or cat to feed lions. Interesting that @aalborgzoo euthanizes the animals. Not all the way to letting nature take its course.

We remember the names of generals and political leaders who saved their nations from being overrun. Why don't we know the names of medical researchers who saved millions from untimely deaths?.
