The Hurricanes tournament run came to an end in the semifinals with a 61-49 loss to the Iron City Hoops. Kashawn Macknight finished with 13 followed by William Fuchs with 10. We finished 3-1 for the tournament.

In the YBOA Alabama State Championships Quarterfinal, the Hurricanes toughed out a hard fought win over the Birmingham Blaze, 87-73. The leading scorers were Semaj Hicks with 35, Javon Wilson with 20 and Brooks Lomax with 18.

In the 2nd game today, the Hurricanes held on for a 69-68 OT win in a thriller against The Academy. Semaj Hicks scored 18 points to lead the team followed by Brandon May, Jr. With 17. In Javon Wilson's second game back, he added 10 points.
