Why are we even entertaining the idea that we should pay for covid tests?
When was the last time you paid for any test? Chlamydia, HIV, blood test, x-ray? No never.
Conditioning us for more paid healthcare...
The UK govt has ripped us out of the Erasmus scheme, and are creating one of their own called the 'Turing Scheme' named after Alan Turing.
The UK chemically castrated Alan Turing for being gay and he killed himself
And now they steal his name for some shoddy Brexit scheme.
One thing I don’t think a lot of British people realise is that all the 🇬🇧 Union Flags have been taken off every single EasyJet plane and replaced with a 🇦🇹.
EasyJet has re-registered as an Austrian business, to avoid leaving the EU.
What will the UK be left with?
What is so annoying is that it takes just as long to say "WHS" out loud as "WHSmith".
And so everyone usually calls it "Smith's for short. Which is the bit they've taken out of the branding.
Terrible decision.
(Before you even get to fact that it looks too much like NHS!)

Honestly read the room Kirstie. The nation is really fed up of being lectured, patronised and talked down to on economic matters by wasteful Tories with no discernible skills.
I'd have kept out of this one.
(And Tory faux outrage when criticised is equally part of the problem.)
Why is the 2017 result not helpful in this election?
If you used a 2017 market research report to plan your business you'd still think everyone was booking holidays from Thomas Cook, buying their Christmas presents at ToysR'Us, and picking up electricals from Maplin.
Andrew Boff, an elected Tory in London, and chair of LGBT Conservatives has been kicked out for (very quietly) "heckling" Suella Braverman.
This is the party against cancel culture and in favour of free speech, is it?
Priti Patel has been quite quiet.
If I’d spend the last six months telling the people who are currently clearing up this mess; cleaning hospitals, delivering food, nursing elderly people, working in supermarkets - that they are unskilled and unwelcome, I’d be quite quiet too.
I don't think people who aren't LGBT+ realise that this sort of thing is now happening to everyone we know, every week.
I first came out as a teenager, back in the 2000s. This didn't happen anywhere near as much in Central London as it is now in 2024. And definitely not in Soho.
Last night I was the victim of a homophobic attack. Walking down Dean st in Soho with my partner

, I feel a blow to my head. A man has hit me with an umbrella, the wooden handle hitting my head with such force it fell off and into the road.

The generation who feel like they fought in a war, but have never actually fought in a war, are suggesting we need to go and fight in a war.
(Just in case being an adult in the most prosperous part of the 20th century, and being able to buy a house, wasn't enough for them.)

A ‘fraction’ yes. Currently about 40%!
Given that only one was Austrian-registered in July 2017 and now 113 are, and this is a rolling process, I’d say my point remains very legitimate and important.
The flag is symbolic but this issue is political. It’s good for people to know.
Okay so I’m in Gran Canaria for the first time.
So the Yumbo Centre is the parallel universe in which gays decided to take over the Elephant & Castle shopping centre.
This weekend shall forever be knows as “the big gay move”.
Home Counties gays went to London for Britney.
London gays went to Manchester Pride.
Welsh gays descended on Cardiff.
And any others went to Carnival.
Snow ploughs are out today clearing glitter off all motorways.
SO happy that Janet got enough airtime for us all to decide to stan forever, despite being paired with Sherry Pie.
A new icon is born.

I can't believe Boris Johnson and Jill Mortimer keep talking about opportunities for Hartlepool as if they have not been the government for the country that town is in for the last 11 years!
It had a Labour MP not a Labour government. If it's been left behind, it's their fault!
So I've had final confirmation of my Hungarian nationality today, and that my documents are ready at the embassy in London. Which means that I am now a dual national & EU citizen.
This would be a somewhat more joyous moment if the EU hadn't just banned all travel from the UK. 😂
Woah stop right there.
If we start vilifying solicitors we have really begun to unpick the delicate fabric of law & society.
We live in a country in which everyone has the right to a fair trial. Even murderers have to have a defence barrister and solicitor.
What is happening?!

This is what we are up against.
After putting on a huge amount of weight during lockdown, I've been trying to balance out my body with strength training. And today is the first day I've felt I can see a difference. (Excuse the unkempt beard!)
If your employer is telling you they're going to be paying you 80% of your salary they have misunderstood what the government scheme is for.
The govt is paying THEM 80% of your salary, so that they can keep paying you 100%.
Sorry no. You're not getting away with saying crap like this any more.
This is life under Boris Johnson. He is the Prime Minister. He has not reassured the public. This is his crisis. This is the Conservative party's mess. Own it.
My mum [about me]: You’ve eaten a whole roast dinner, almost half the remainder of the shepherds pie, a family bar of Bourneville and now you’re starting on some crackers with vegan cheese. Meanwhile wondering why you had to put on an XL t-shirt this morning.
I have been read.
"You can no longer call yourself ‘anti-racist’ if you are not prepared to do everything to get rid of these people. We often talk about forming a ‘progressive alliance’. It is now a necessity that we form an ‘anti-racist alliance’"

Probably one of the nicest people involved in politics. And an incredibly lovely constituency.
Fair few ex-Conservative farmers fed up and voting Green here.
