I'm so excited to share the Syllabics project that @typotheque and I have been working on for the past two years, one that provides meaningful results for Indigenous communities in Canada. Please enjoy watching the short film we made to present the project!
In collaboration with the Indigenous communities we have developed a series of Canadian Syllabics fonts, that improve the encoding standards, and make the fonts available to previously ignored people. Launching 8 font families today. https://t.co/wL2oYGIdIy

Happy 25th birthday @typotheque! It was my pleasure to create this map for the exhibition of all of the scripts that November supports, and will support, in the future.
We created this map of the world’s writing scripts for the anniversary exhibition in Den Haag. (Thanks @calligraphio!). All 36 presented scripts are set in one font — November. Most of the language versions are already published, some will come soon. It has been a massive project

The three new Latin script characters that N̓a̓ṇ́ga̓inúx̌v (Robyn) Humchitt and I proposed for the Haíɫzaqvḷa (Heiltsuk) language have now been formally published in Version 16.0 of the Unicode Standard, and are now available for reliable digital text interchange! 🥳🎉🎉
