It’s obvious that what we’re seeing with Carlos Alcaraz isn’t normal. 5-0 in Grand Slam finals & 13-1 in 5 set matches is ridiculous stuff at age 22. Already one of the best ever and on pace to possibly be the greatest clutch player we’ve ever seen. Don’t take this for granted.

At the 2022 US Open, these two played what I thought was easily the match of the decade. It’s safe to say that this unseated it without a doubt. For those of us that eat, sleep and breathe tennis, this is why we do it. One of the best matches in the history of the sport.

In a sport dominated by a trio of legends for 20+ years, Carlos Alcaraz is on pace to possibly be the greatest clutch player we’ve ever seen. Accomplishing all of this by age 22 is special stuff. Don’t take what we’re seeing for granted.
