Also these paragraphs were so interesting to me. I love the name Connie and never realized it was uniquely popular among young Asian women in the U.S., while being (relatively) unpopular overall! It’s one of the few names I don’t instantly forget after being introduced to someone

When I started college (Harvard Class of 2004), there were 2 students named Connie Chung out of a class of ~1500.

Great story. Until Connie Chung came along, the most famous "Connies" were probably actress Connie Francis and Rock n' Roll groupie "Sweet" Connie Hamzy, who was immortalized in the Grand Funk Railroad song "American Band"...
