Finished the first chapter of my redraft for #Phoenixwip andโฆwoah. I feel like sometimes I stick with a story, overwork it into oblivion, and then thereโs no new direction for it to take. But this redraft feels like cutting off all that dead weight and Iโm really enjoying it!!!

I just want you all to know that itโs OKAY if you queried your book before it was ready. Itโs okay if you had no idea what a query letter was and just TRIED. Most people (me included) did this. It doesnโt mean you wonโt succeed. Itโs okay to make mistakes. Youโre on the path.

Update: I have a week to find a job, find a place to stay, pack my things and leave. We have broken up, and that's the timeframe he's giving me. I currently have $1k, for which I am incredibly grateful. Any extra help is beyond appreciated, given the deadline I'm under.
