Awesome post . Would love to see a correlation in length of kick out as well, guys lower and wider to the ground vs guys tighter to the body with their foot that's up.
Interesting note according to Savant’s new Catcher Stance Tracking:. Catchers since 2024 have much better framing numbers in LKD compared to RKD with identical blocking and throwing runs. There seems to be a sweetspot in terms of usage splits where Bailey, Moreno, and Kirk sit.

Textbook low ball move by Yankee’s JC Escarra. Note how deep his glove load is. Really catching the low STRI-BALL extended & up to the plate. Plus good hold timing.
