Having built both consumer apps and an L1 protocol, I think this prediction makes a lot of sense. It's not that either is easier than the other but they're very different challenges and require quite different teams/cultures/etc. to be done excellently.

The entire stock market hung on by an expectation about an estimate.

What was being watched wasn't even really how Nvidia's revenue or other numbers compared to past quarters. It was whether or not they would beat the analyst estimates, seemingly irrespective of what those estimates were.

The only reason that the markets didn't crater 10% today is because one single company, Nvidia, beat its estimates. And if that sounds crazy, don't stop it's actually worse.
