In the past few days, Israel has bombed Doha, struck Tunis over the humanitarian flotilla headed to Gaza and assassinated Yemen’s Prime Minister. These are clear violations of international law. Which other state is allowed to commit such crimes without any consequences?

Given Israel launched a strike on Qatar, one of the UK's most important allies, the UK Govt should immediately rescind their invitation to Israel's President, Isaac Herzog. They should never have offered to roll out the red carpet to someone so obviously complicit in war crimes.

The scenes in Gaza are horrifying to watch. Israel is deliberately starving civilians. Children are dying as food and aid are blocked. Nothing can justify it. Enough is enough. The UK government must force Israel to let aid into Gaza, and the killing must stop. Now.

Labour’s behaviour towards people with disabilities is appalling. The chaos that Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves have presided over has shown total contempt for the vulnerable. And Anas Sarwar has supported them all the way. Westminster is failing. Scotland deserves better.

The government has announced a two-tier benefits system. Under its plans, you can keep your benefits if you are disabled now, but not if you become disabled tomorrow. How is that fair? A reminder: The Independent Alliance stands by its own amendment, and we will not back down.
