I first met Glen in 2013 when I got my start in Maryland politics. Despite me being 23 he made a point to learn my name & interests. He was an incredible leader in the state. This is a true loss.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brother Glen Middleton yesterday evening. As the Executive Director of AFSCME Council 67 and President of Local 44, he was a fierce leader who inspired many of us in the labor movement today. Rest in power, Brother Middleton.

Maryland needs to build more housing for all price points NOW. All the policies we've put in place are pointless if we cannot allow the folks who would benefit to afford to move here. Local governments have shown they are frequently not willing to cooperate. State intervention!.
