We met with the provincial govt, pvt sector & apprentices under a Swiss Embassy-supported project to strengthen the TVET sector in Butwal. Improved quality of TVET systems can help ensure young people, especially from disadvantaged groups have skills suited to the labor market.

Had the opportunity to travel to the neighboring villages of Surkhet, where we documented the empowering stories of young women who were part of the initial batch of 'EDGE (English for Digital and Girls Education)' training program from 2017 to 2020. Thanks to the British Council
Amazing to see #EDGE girls continuing to grow in confidence and utilising valuable skills that will shape their future! Fantastic job by @npBritish and @VSONepal teams, local municipalities, peer group leaders and parents #TransformativePowerOfEducation

Started my day inspired by this earthquake rebuilding project. Ending it feeling another earthquake in #Nepal. I hope everyone is safe.
What a testament to the resilience of the Nepalese people! In 2015, this place was left devastated by a terrible earthquake. 8 years after, I'm so proud to see how @WBG_IDA's support has helped Nepal rebuild in a way that is safer and more resilient to future disasters.
