We want to stress that prices in our store are for BIPOC only! Institutions like libraries and white people HAVE TO add a sliding scale amount in our web store to purchase items by us. We give Black zine makers 100% of the cover price and need these funds to pay our overhead.

Please encourage your local zine organizers to require masks. If they need resources we are more than welcome to share zine resources with them, we distribute over 20 zines on COVID for free at events we table at and with zine orders, many focusing on event organizing. (3/3)

Zine fests are where we make a majority of our total sales, & our redistribution (which relies on profits) initiative has been pretty lacking for the last year. Our original goal of having a space for BIPOC at zine events is moot without mask requirements in zine spaces. (2/3).

Since the dropping of mask requirements we have not been able to make it to a majority of zine events we attended in the past, asking folks if they know of zine fests that require masks to comment on this post. (1/3).

💠 Zinemakers who want to risograph their zine make sure their zine is designed to be risographed. 💠 We only accept imposed PDFs. 💠 Zines will be printed on 24 lbs copy paper and stapled. We will take the first 75 print-ready submissions and send 30 free copies.
