Lots of talk in Ireland about reaching targets on forestry. Why do we exclude from the figures our hedgerows which take up 6.4% of our land. The most sustainable and rich in biodiversity. Yet government don’t it count when it comes to reaching our targets. Why not?

Canned water(yes that’s right I said canned water!)selling for the equivalent of €3.30/litre and @Avonmoretaste Super Milk selling for €1.51. Milk is an out and out superfood and nutritionally dense and it’s selling for half the price of a gimmicky marketing trick.

Grass by day, maize and silage by night. There’s also 3kgs being fed in the Parlour. This is our first year feeding maize and it is going well. Cows are in great condition and milking 2.15 kgs/day. Our #maize was grown for us by a local tillage farmer. #collaboration #winwin

My milk has just been collected. Massive credit to @LakelandDairies and the milk lorry drivers for getting it done. Staff, family, milk carters and coop #teameffort it would have been heartbreaking to have to dump it considering the huge effort that has been put in this week.
