This Sunday at 6pm on @RTElyricfm mine and @MiseAnja’s new radio series Feather & Flock will begin with an episode on the cuckoo - exploring Ireland’s birds through ecology, sound, music, folklore and song. I’m so excited for this to air, alongside the infamous cuckoo’s return.

A few years ago for my undergrad thesis I researched ways that protest is portrayed by mainstream media in Ireland. One news outlet ranked the highest by far, mostly framing protests with an emphasis on the cause/grievance rather than crime & arrests. Was reminded of it today:
