Math isn’t just numbers on a page—it’s the blueprint of our universe. In "Blueprints", @MarcusduSautoy shows us how equations secretly shape everything from music to nature.

Myths are operating systems. Stories that capture minds become rules of thumb; rules become rites; rites are institutionalized and institutions shape reality. Repetition of the story reinforces the rules of the games people play to rise in society. Rinse and repeat.

I'm greatful that @Spotify has addressed this. I have secured our YouTube, and locked/updated our RSS feed. I still have no control over the syndication that happened on https://t.co/6BOJBMyUGs from this other team, but they took over our @Apple @AppleSupport @ApplePodcasts

Dating? Negotiating? Job hunting? They’re not just choices—they’re games. In our new episode with @1autumn_leaf, @FairweatherPhD shows how economics can help you play smarter (even when the rules are rigged). Hate the Game → https://t.co/4cBQKWEUGW

The economy is unfair. The rules are tilted. But you still have moves. And with the right strategy, you can play the unfair game—and win. Listen to @FairweatherPhD on @breakingmathpod https://t.co/7WlkRbuIbw

Or work. You’re told: “Work hard and you’ll be rewarded.” But often promotions go to those who play the system differently. Seeing the incentives of your boss, your peers, and the company can completely change your strategy.

Take dating. We think it’s about love, sparks, romance. But economics shows patterns: couples survive longer when their incomes & risks don’t perfectly overlap. It’s less Romeo & Juliet… more portfolio diversification.

Economics gives us “cheat codes”: -Backward induction (plan from the end backward) -Inside vs. outside options (you always have more than one) -Utility (play your game, not someone else’s) These aren’t abstract theories. They’re real-life tools.

Imagine life as a giant strategy game. Some players start with more money, more moves, even better dice. Unfair? Absolutely. But here’s the twist: you can still win—if you learn the rules.
