Got our terrific logo work back for my business! Super happy with the results! It feels more and more real each day.

Since '21, I've written 3 MG books- non are pub'd. It's difficult to set goals in this industry when a lot of it has absolutely nothing to do with your amount of effort, love, sweat, and tears. But I keep writing, and I hope that one day you will be able to read my stories. ✍️💞

Am I behind the times? It seems like the climate around tweeting about the #amquerying process has changed. I was always under the impression that tweeting as rejections and full requests rolled in was faux pas, but now it seems like the status quo?

Only recently realized that so far, in all of my books, there's a ride-or-die friendship. "You can count on me," is the unspoken dialogue.
question for writers, bc once again I’m awfully curious HAHA, what themes do you use in each of y’all’s books? and are there any specific themes you enjoy using/ have used on multiple occasions? 😳

It's easy to give into despair if you've been in the #amquerying trenches for *checks notes* literally any amount of time. But this thread is good. It sparks hope. Give it a read.
The perennial Colleen Hoover discourse has made me realize something. As an editor, I find that 90% of authors have the writing chops to be traditionally published, and the 10% who still need to grow will get there in no time if they keep at it. Authors see lackluster writing

This tweet brought to you by the fact that I realized my pinned tweet should mention what I'm currently querying in case an agent decides to stalk my profile.

I officially got my first rejection this morning, but at least that means I’m one step closer to finding an agent who loves my story just as much as I do!

I can't stress this enough—there will always be someone doing better than you. If you're bitter about people getting agented while querying you'll be bitter on sub when others get book deals. An agent won't change this. It's all internal work and accepting you're on your own path
