“[Greear and co] view the pulpit as a performative place. The ‘fire pit’ for them is a place of ‘authenticity.’ But the pulpit is a place of deceit. It is a song and dance. A sales pitch.” Wow that’s such a good point.
You know what strikes me as very odd about Greear and his ilk? They lack integrity. Of course by this I mean wholeness or moral consistency. They view the pulpit as a performative place. The “fire pit” for them is a place of “authenticity.” But the pulpit is a place of deceit.

Spend more time in the Bible than you do researching conspiracy theories & watching/engaging with the content of those that spew it. Knowledge of God’s Word is far more important. We need Biblical literacy now more than ever.
