Her name is Ishala Balolage. Ishala is 10-years-old & 1st learned chess at the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda. She is from the Congo, but due to conflict was forced to flee her country. For many, opportunities are limited, it’s hard to be seen, when so many are suffering.
