AWS rotation is one command: php artisan locksmith:rotate aws.credentials --recipe=aws → Deletes previous key → Creates new IAM key → Validates it works → Schedules cleanup job

2/ Two ways to rotate: 📦 Recipes — for services with APIs (AWS IAM built-in) 📋 Key Pools — for services without APIs (pre-add keys, Locksmith rotates through them)

1/ The key insight: grace periods. When you rotate, BOTH old and new keys work for 60 minutes. No failed requests during transition. After grace period → queued job deletes old key from provider automatically. Self-cleaning. Zero downtime.
