Correction/Clarification: The 19 year old AHL change is not yet in effect. It requires agreement with CHL, & the NHL/NHLPA have agreed to push to get this agreement & change done for this season. However, those negotiations have not started yet & no guarantee it's effective

#OHL Rule Change for 2025-26: Slew-Footing Slew-Footing has been updated to allow officials to assess a four-minute double-minor penalty in addition to a match penalty. The OHL Department of Player Safety will review all infractions.

I can't say I'm shocked that all five players in the Hockey Canada sexual assault trial were found not guilty. I stand by the fact that this sport still needs a significant culture shift. It needs to be fixed. The culture is part of a bigger societal issue overall
