Whilst in PEI, Canada recently we enjoyed a 7 night stay at a well positioned Airbnb in Charlottetown. One of the pleasures was the regular morning & evening September parade of cruise ships in/out of the harbour, including my favourite former command #Aurora of #PandOcruises.

At the beautifully presented and fully operational #PointPrim Light House, PEI, Canada today. Light winds, warm sunshine and calm seas made for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Lobster rolls and Blueberry Bread at the nearby #PointPrimChowderhouse were equally wonderful😀!

A great trip to #Liverpool to see the elegant #Aurora of P&O Cruises after 13 years away from the ship. My favourite command back in 2012 and she continues to be a very classy cruise liner. Very pleased to see many of my former colleagues. Thank you to all for a super visit.

On board the #SpanishGalleonAndalucia in #Caernarfon today. Excellent and well worthy of hour of your time. Clean, very shipshape,friendly crew and beautifully presented.Lots for photographers! Tickets available on the internet or on the dock. Only there until 08 June. Wonderful!

Day trip to the Arctic Circle island of Grimséy, Iceland. A super day out by ferry from near Akureyri. A short hike north into the Arctic,by the spectacular shoreline cliffs & across the green slopes of Grimséy with thousands of quirky Puffins and territorial Arctic Tern to see.

Great to see the elegant Arcadia of P&O Cruises gracing Holyhead’s magnificent harbour. The sun shone, passengers and crew were ashore and I even had the pleasure of unexpectedly meeting my former officer’s steward in town and running him to/from the out of town shopping😉!

Hello all who congratulated me/liked the Anglesey coastal photograph above. Still delighted to have the photograph selected,but as a runner-up, not the winner who was deservedly @dgriff 👏. Slight mix up by competition organiser-learnt 2 days ago. Serves me right for bragging😉.

After many years (& numerous competition entries) I have had an Ynys Môn image chosen as the winner in the competition reflecting Anglesey’s Coastal Character. Some of you will recognise the location as Traeth Penhros. The breeze will be familiar to residents & visitors alike😉.

Back in the driving seat again, & relaxing under the propulsion screw, aboard the preserved Finnmarken at the excellent #HurtigruteMuseet in #Stockmarknes, #ArcticNorway.Well worth a visit and we enjoyed the step back in time to our earliest seagoing days😀! Super afternoon out.
