Seen departing London and heading to Falmouth the "Valor" is owned by an unnamed American Billionaire and was only completed a couple of months ago in the Netherlands. It has accommodation for 14 guests and is fitted with an Lithium-Ion battery bank to reduce emissions.

Tideway was built in 1973 and was acquired by Thames Leisure Services in 1987 to operate tourist trips from Westminster to the Tate Gallery etc. Now a houseboat the photos clearly show the great tidal range on the River Medway.

Clearly showing the great tidal variations on the River Medway this "houseboat" was originally the tug "ALA" built in 1966 as Herbert Crampin. IMO 6605137. Shame to see her apparently abandoned and almost beyond recognition

This houseboat was originally the coaster "Cecil Gilders" first owned by London & Rochester Shipping (later becoming Crescent Shipping). Originally built in 1957 and was skippered by Bob Childs. Bob was a ship enthusiast belonging to various clubs and gave interesting talks.

Just after 8am this morning the usually tranquil Queenborough was chaos with a lot of filming crew. All they would say was that they were filming "a man in a boat" - due to having signed an NDA. Then surprisingly an American tug appeared - appropriately called "Beer Money".
