The Samourai sentences are a warning shot at privacy itself. Open-source builders are being punished for publishing code that lets peaceful people protect their transactions from surveillance. If this stands, every privacy tool will ultimately become a crime scene.
The Samurai Wallet sentencing is terrible. I am working on it. I am working on a LOT of these cases. I need Bitcoiners to flex their influence right now. You need to make calls to the admin. We will not win this in woke courts. We can win in the Whitehouse.

Pro tooling for PMs is nice but what’s more sorely needed is privacy PMs in essence incentivize insiders with info to reveal it. Currently if you “snitch” there’s permanent onchain record of it that may haunt you later. This makes PMs fundamentally less efficient.
Prediction markets are maturing. A cottage industry of forecasters is emerging, but the tooling is not there. I’ve been prototyping some of these sharp tools like advanced order types, activity tracking, cross-venue routing, etc. for myself. If you are building here, DMs open.

Suits have invaded DeFi, and they have pretty much won Tech matters 10x less than TradFi connections nowadays. Stablecoins are centralized to the tits. Vaults are secured by “trust us”. You can still build cypherpunk things but good luck getting funded! How do we solve this?

FYI if you’re a builder it’s a no brainer to build on megaeth. There’s a lot of noise, but I believe mega will be the main venue for crypto apps, period. There is no better team with better tech and grit. It’s not yet another L2, it’s qualitatively different from anything else.

Truly sad to see the Balancer exploit. It’s quite astonishing and scary since Balancer v2 has been live for ~5 years, and it’s only getting hacked now. The team has also prob done pretty much everything they could: audits, fuzzing, verification etc.
